PATIENCE ASAREBEA ADOW: Was born on April 4, 1939 in Ghana West Africa. She born in the Eastern Region of Ghana where she served as the Regional Minister under President Rawlins. She has three children, two daughters, Irene and Susann, and one son Kofi. Irene and Susann live in London, England and Kofi lives in Norfolk, Virginia U.S.A.
Patience went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 7, 2005. A month earlier she had buried her older sister and leaves behind two sisters and two brothers, as well as four grandchildren.
Patience was hit head on by a Water Truck. She was a pasenger, her driver was treated and release. Patience was pronounced dead at the hospital.
PATIENCE ASAREBEA ADOW was the regional Minister of the Eastern Region of Ghana West Africa when I met her in 1997. I did not learn until 2000 that she was the Vice President of the INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION for HOME ECONOMICS (IFHE) for the AFRICA REGION. IFHE is a worldwide organization, which was founded in Switzerland in 1907. Patience held the first IFHE Congress on the Continent of Africa in 2000. It was successful. In August 2002 Patience turned the position of the Africa Region Vice Presidency over to another and is now currently on the Advisory Board for IFHE. She has shown extreme calm, incite, fortitude and shares the belief in this MISSION GOD has BLESSED us all with. Her response to me when I asked her if she would serve as Vice President of THE MILLENNIUM PROJECT: TAKING AFRICA into the 21st CENTURY was “Yes, Thank you GOD! I have prayed and asked GOD to allow me to be of service to HIM!” Patience was the first person I called on September 11, 2001 as I watched television in horror. She told me that the President of Ghana had the flags flown at half-staff in support of America. I called a News Department at a local television station. Patience is a God sent.
Patience shared my vision and always stated to me that everything was in God's time. My sister is it time yet?
Patience's body will be buried on Saturday, December 3, 2005 in Ghana West Africa.

I’m FREE
Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free,
I’m following the path God laid for me;
I took His hand when I heard Him call
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day
To laugh, to love, to work, or play;
Tasks left undone must stay that way.
I found that place at the close of day.
If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembering joy,
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss;
Ah, yes, these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow;
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life’s been full; I’ve savored much,
Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,
Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief
Lift up your heart and share with me.
God wanted me now–He set me free.
