THE FACTS
THE FACTS

WHAT:
THE MILLENNIUM PROJECT:
TAKING AFRICA into the 21st CENTURY
Is a Certified 501-(C) (3) Not-for-Proft Public Charity Corporation.  It is the Vision and Creation of LINDA McCOGGLE.  The goal is to provide all of Africa with access to clean running water.
WHY:
Millions of African People live each day without the simple necessity of clean running water.  Many have to walk miles to obtain water that is quite often retrieved from the same source that people wash in, defecate in and pollute with refuse.  Americans take clean running water for granted, forgetting that without water the body cannot continue to function for more than three days.  Such an important element of survival should be available to everyone.
WHERE:
The starting point for this mission will be Ghana.  However, we have no doubt that this project will eventually encompass West Africa, the whole of Africa, and the entire World.
WHEN:
THE MILLENNIUM PROJECT:
TAKING AFRICA into the 21st CENTURY
A NOT-for-PROFIT CORPORATION
Was conceived in the summer of 1997.  It is anticipated that it will go forward for the next thirty years, until we reach the point where we can say, without equivocation, that every person in Africa has access to clean running water.
HOW:
Our goal is to propose a design and implement a Water Treatment Plant, a Waste Water Treatment Plant, and a Power Plant.  Upon the successful completion of the first plant, it is presumed that many more will follow.  To accomplish this task we will rely on the support and Volunteerism of Individuals and Organizations around the world.
